Hooray! Our local farm shop has just been awarded Taste of the West Gold for 2020/2021.
On top of being listed by the Guardian as one of the top 30 farm shops in the UK.
This means it may be the best farm shop in North Cornwall.
Delicious pasties, sausage rolls, pies, quiches and scotch eggs are created in house. Made from scratch using the finest local ingredients. Tre Pol and Pen won a gold for their Traditional Cornish Pasty and their Pork Sausage Roll won silver.

This amazing place is much more than a farm shop.
The butchers here know their meat, they are easy to chat with, they have advice and suggestions on should you want.
The deli and cheese counter is laden with beautiful local cheeses smoked meats, salamis, and the best home made quiche, scotch eggs or pate for a delicious supper.
Fresh salads and crusty bread is available daily, and the wine section feature well priced carefully chosen wines to compliment your food choices.
The attention-grabbing name of the farm shop comes from the phrase written by Richard Carew in 1602 – “By Tre, Pol and Pen shall ye know all Cornishmen” – alluding to the common place and surnames in Cornwall.
Tre Pol and Pen is rightly a popular haunt for tourists, foodies, arts and crafts people, as well as the local community, and with good reason - it has much to offer! We recommend it to our friends and guests as a ‘really should see’ place before you leave our area.
There is also an innovative refill your own container section for pulses, cereals and dried fruits – such an important way of shopping in the’ plastic strewn world of today.
The restaurant is open daily serving delicious home made cakes, cream teas and the smoothest coffee. There is a seasonal lunch menu using the best of local produce; and regular pizza evenings all freshly made to eat in (or take away).
